Dorothy PhyllisRIDERJanice and Gordon wish to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended their mother Dorothy's funeral service at Scawby Parish Church on 26th September 2025, for the many messages of sympathy and support they have received, and for the generous donations made to the RNLI.
They offer their sincere gratitude to Stephen Thorburn, funeral director at Lochmaben, and to Jason and his team at Threadgold Funeral Services. Their kindness, thoughtfulness, dignity, and compassion were exceptional. Grateful thanks are also extended to Rev. David Eames for his support and kindness.
Heartfelt thanks, too, to all the staff at Bankfoot House in Moffat, who were unfailingly supportive, kind, and thoughtful-sharing in our mother's sense of humour and taking wonderful care of her throughout the last two years of her life.
